Long story short, I'm currently in Cancun (I've been here 9 days) and I'm loving it here. I'm ready to do some more exploring, especially since Cancun isn't the real Mexico. I've just been vegetating here, to be honest. I visited one ruin (Coba), but otherwise my days have pretty much consisted of buying beer, drinking coffee (at Starbucks), soaking up the sun, meeting new people (mostly fellow travelers). And that's kinda it! I burned through more money than I intended to (shopping - one of my vices) so I've been trying to figure out the cheapest ways to see the rest of Latin America.
I would looooooove to get down to Tierra Del Fuego and/or Ushuaia. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to get into Belize and then into Guatemala. I'm thinking of taking a bus down to Chetumal and then taking a water taxi to San Pedro (in the Cays)...
Anyways, since I won't be updating this blog as often while traveling I'm going to create another one strictly for my travels.
